1. Smith Films CC will to the best of their ability ensure that all equipment etc is in full working condition on commencement of the shoot. Smith Films CC cannot be held responsible for any equipment, vehicle or memory card defects that may occur.
2. If there is another Video Company on the day of your Wedding working in conjunction with us, we will not be able to film your Wedding.
3. In the event that the function exceeds the discussed contracted time, Smith Films CC will inform the Client that an additional amount of R1 500.00 per hour (Unplanned) and R800.00 per hour (Pre -Booked) will be charged to them.
4. All goods remain the property of Smith Films CC until paid for in full by the client.
5. Smith Film CC reserves the right to use any captured footage from the event for advertising or promotional purposes.
NB: Please note we charge R5 000 for raw footage and royalties will be charged as well if you decide to use the footage for promotional purposes.
6. It takes approx. 5 months from the date of your function to complete your Function Mp4 Movie.
7. No Highlights will be uploaded until the final amount on your package has been paid for in full.
8. In order to confirm your booking date with Smith Films CC, a 50% deposit must be paid into our account within 2 weeks of the booking form having been completed. This will be to ensure that Smith Films CC will not make any cross bookings for the date you have requested. NB: Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
9. The outstanding 50% balance must be paid a week before the Function date.
10. Please ensure that catering will be provided for 2 videographers as well as adequate seating on the day of the wedding unless there are more than 2 in which case that will be confirmed with you beforehand, (as a hungry videographer is definitely less focused, No pun intended).
11. All media material, including the music you would like us to use for your video, must be copied onto flash drive and supplied to Smith Films CC in Mp3 format a week before the wedding date, in order for us to begin the editing process. However in the event that Smith Films CC has decided that a particular music choice will be better suited for the tone of your video (after having viewed the footage) , you will be notified on the changes Smith Films CC would like to make before finalizing the video. NB: Please note If we do not receive all material we need from you in time for us to start editing your wedding video, we will use music of our choice and the delivery package will not have your picture.
12. To avoid filling up our drive space with completed jobs, your wedding will be deleted after three months of completion and you will be notified.
13. We are a professional team and have an outstanding track record, However unforeseen circumstances can sometimes occur. In the event that Smith Films CC is involved in an accident that is either an act of God, or something completely out of our control on the day of your wedding, no legal action may be taken against Smith Films CC and a negotiated amount as a refund will be paid into your account.
14. The flight of the drone is at our discretion and according to the weather on the day.
15. Please note the first meeting with us will be at no charge, however if you feel like requesting for more than one meeting, an amount of R1 000 will be charged for the time.
Travel Cost:
All packages include travel cost to the venues within 50kms from our premises there after R3/km paid on delivery.
